We’re also just minutes from the Tryon International Equestrian Center and surrounded by our own little corner of Carolina wine country, with beautiful local vineyards and wineries just down the road.

Spend your days chasing waterfalls, hiking mountain trails, exploring small towns, sipping local wine, or simply staying right here and enjoying the slower pace of camp.

The Camp Lodge is the heart of Wheat Creek Outpost. Your place to gather, relax, and refuel. Brew your own specialty coffee at the self-serve station, browse provisions in the camp store, and sink into a cozy chair by the fire. Swap stories with fellow travelers, challenge friends to a game, or simply watch the day drift by from the porch. The Lodge is also available to rent for small events, offering a rustic, welcoming space for celebrations and get-togethers.

Looking for a unique spot for your next small gathering? At Wheat Creek Outpost, you can rent our cozy Camp Lodge for intimate events. You’ll need to book the entire camp (just two tents) plus a small rental fee for the Lodge.
